Who is Jesus?
Sin was introduced into the world through Adam and Eve and today we are all sinners (Romans 3:23). Since God is holy, he cannot stand to be in the presence of sin and is separated from us. Since God is just, he demands punishment for our sins and the only fitting punishment is death. Jesus, being perfect and the son of God, is the only sinless person to ever exist. His sacrifice was the only sacrifice that can forgive our sin and make us holy. As Adam opened the door to sin for everyone, Jesus opened the door to salvation for everyone.
What do we believe?
We believe the only way we can accept this offer of eternal salvation from God is through faith in his son Jesus. We enter into this new covenant by believing in Christ, repenting of our sins, and being baptized (immersed in water) for the forgiveness of our sins. After being baptized, you are now part of Christ’s global body, often referred to simply as the “church”, and his sacrifice will continually cleanse you from sin as long as you remain faithful to Him and follow God’s will for your life.
